Better said by others... but I have to complement as well. Very Nice! Any words of wisdom regarding fatigue? I'm close to heading out on a journey not bound by any particular goal or amount of time.

I think it's the 5 days to sell the data that's the most impressive part of this!
Kudos on your trip Commander
Welcome home Allitnil
Did you pass through Rendezvous point on the fringe of the Scutum arm on your way back? There's a few of us who have tagged a planet each in that system now. Make sure you get it registered at universal cartographics.
Have you considered retiring the Roncevaux? Its a piece of history now and deserves to be preserved. I did with the DSS Beagle and Shackleton Explorer. Two ships that returned from the depths and that will never be repaired or flown again. One day FD may introduce an orbital ship museum that players can retire ships to. Something worth bearing in mind![]()
i disagree. It's the shameful part. If it took the same amount of time to sell commodities as it does to sell exploration data, we'd have a riot on our hands, with traders screaming bloody murder. I am about 30k ly from sol right now, only 2000 systems visited, but am not looking forward to returning at all - if here was at least an option to "save data" once you docked, so you could take a break and go do something else for a while...

oohh - which system? I am on the far side now, headed further, would be cool to have a system to target...

Thank you - the Teleki Bengal will be making it's way there... One way or another.
Actually, I just searched for it, I seem to have been heading straight for it. Only 13k Ly away...

When you do get there, please be aware that the unclaimed purple planet is the only one that r4nger0 scanned. When he finally gets home it would be great if he could get the first discovered tag so his name is on the system along with Erimus - the rest of us are just sightseers!
How do we know what has already been scanned so we do not scan them again? I'm also heading that way no doubt.
That's a good question. I think there needs to be a record kept of who scanned what since its become a popular point of interest for explorers returning from the far side.
I know I scanned the jump star and the first gas giant (the one in the video) and I think I did the two smaller ringed worlds. They should bare the name Kamzel when you get there. CMDR R4nger0 scanned the large purple gas giant but he won't be home to stake his claim for several more months at least. I'm not sure what others have tagged. Hopefully whatever they scanned will have their names on by now so look for something that is still unexplored and tag that.
If I knew then that it would attract so much interest in the future, and with hindsight, I should have picked a really large system with multiple stars and dozens of worlds for the rendezvous![]()
What we need is an Explorer's sub-forum where we can collate and track all these types of events/points of interest.
This is how it currently stands based on what I know for sure:
nb: Kamzel is Erimus's CMDR name
nb2: the greyed out planet & moon is a bug I get with this system, it was fine when I first visited it
I believe Krunchie scanned some of the moons but I'm not sure which ones. He's not expecting to get home for some time yet.

Please only tag one or two objects once you're there. Its sort of become a tradition to leave your mark there but leave plenty of stuff unsurveyed for others who pass that way to do likewise
If you're interested in its background this is a brief video of why people visit it..
