Finally found my best trade route! stoked!

super stoked! after so much searching. Its $887 one way and $1741 back. $2628 total. Only a 17LR jump between systems. one system is 30LS and the other is 250LS but thats OK! trip takes me about 10 min and I make 600K. So about 3.6 million an hour if stick on it, no breaks. I alt tab a lot lol. Will be working towards my type-9 and vulture, then eventually and Anaconda! once I have my conda I am going to do what ever I want. Not even worry about credits.

After you get the 150 million for a conda you'll realize its going to cost another 150 million to get a good kit on it.

That is 40 hours or so to get a stock Anaconda, talk about grinding.
Anyway, good find.
Yup, I used audio books to pass the time. Now I'm at 600 million in game assets and I don't trade much anymore lol. Have all the ships I want at the moment.

Just the A grade power plant on the conda is 156 million or so. Luckily you don't really need all that power, I run a B rated on mine for the extra power plant health.

Gratz. It takes some searching but when you find a good one it sure feels like you've hit the jackpot :)

I've just moved on from a 3 way route that got me from Type 7 -> Clipper -> Python -> Type 9, that was 1,100c 1,200c & 1,450c per ton and took about 20mins for a round trip. I left it to rank up in Fed space and have found a very short 900c 1200c route with some civil war action for when I feel like jumping in the Cobra, happy days! :)

Out of interest what was the 1,740c commodity? My 1,450c on Imperial Slaves is the best I've come across so far.

Don't burn out on the grinder;)

Gave up trading a few weeks back after every good route I found started to collapse within the hour.
Don't tell anyone but I'm making more credits per hour bounty hunting than I have ever made trading!

You've played for this long, I'm surprised you haven't thought about spending more on the loadout than the ship...

All my parts cost like at least a total of 6 times what my ship is worth...

Good job on the route though!

Not sure I understand. I have like 32 million into this ship. I was aware. I just wanted to put a funny meme.

Be patient and keep on grinding, once you get into your anaconda or T9 the trading routes become paved with credits.

Here's my trade income, 8 min round trip if I lean heavily on boost in and out of the station, 9 mins if I chill out.

Trade configured Anaconda with 452 tons cargo capacity, nets me 9 mil/hr on this route.

Congrats and good job, Beatz. I had a nice little trading route myself, selling gold from one station to the other- a station around a planet, to another station at that planet's moon. I worked that route until I earned a couple million credits, then I started banging my head on my keyboard from boredom and went back to exploring and combat. It's not that Elite's trading is any worse than in other space games- I just never liked it. I only do it when I have to.

Good luck on your trade runs! May all your foes be incinerated! :D

Grats dude.

I see you've taken good care of not sharing that one, despite acting so "surprised" when we all told you, in your last thread, that sharind a route was not a good idea.

Oh well. Lesson learned I guess. And that's a good route, enjoy!

the only thing a Conda is good for is well....more trading (IMO). So don't get too excited. It's like flying the Starship Enterprise on manual, not done. :)
Before the flames start, note the "IMO". :D
Saying that, it can be quite nice for exploring though if that's your bag.
If you want a ship you can actually "fly", change your goal to a Python - a great (and brutal combat) all rounder when pimped up. :D
Nice route though too btw :)

I am getting about 2300 for my Pally-Extractors loop, but now I have a Python (Clipper parked up) I can search out more outpost routes and maybe improve my figures to something similar to yours.

Well done, Sir.

My tactics exactly. I play elite differently to other games. I love it, and have put in hundeds of hrs. To those who find trading or exploring dull I see their point but for me with an audio book on the time flies by, and then a quick pause if i need to fight.

So far listened to "The mote in god's eye", "Enders game" and now on a childhood fave of mine, "Dune".

that is a hell of a trade route!.
