Newcomer / Intro An Adder, an Adder. My Kingdom for an Adder!

I want an Adder. I've been to about 30 systems in 3 hours looking for one. Currently, I'm hanging around Sol. Where can I find an Adder? It's getting annoying and I don't want to go Hauler. I'd like at least a BIT of firepower!

Any suggestions (apart from the obvious "search some more")? Tedium has set in and I want to go exploring or mining or trading or something less missiony.

Go to your map and filter out the ECONOMY and only choose High Tech. Any High Tech systems will increase your luck in finding one. They also have the best modules for your ship.

I'm sitting in a station in the Togher (sp?) system, and it's got Adders in the shipyard. Within about 100Ly from Sol (I'm on my way to Barnard's Star and I'm less than 10 jumps out in my Eagle). Though since I'm not sitting in front of my home machine I may be mis-remembering. If I'm wrong I'll update after I get home and can check.

Nope

You should hit a shipyard with a adder within 10 hits.. they are a low level ship and very common

If I was a betting man ... I would put a fiver on you've been to less than 6 stations total

get out in that little Sidey and find it yourself CMDR

I ditched my Adder pretty quickly because of one really annoying thing....

IT SOUNDS LIKE A FREAKING BIPLANE ON ITS LAST LEGS!

Seriously, the audio for this bigger hauler is flawed imho. I kept asking myself why I was flying a WWI plane in ED lol. :S

Funny - I love the noise - sounds really gruff and different.

Found one, did a couple of rare runs with it, ditched it and bought a Cobra instead.
