looking For Next Ship Advice. Pyhton or Vultre & T9.

When I get back from exploring today I am looking at my next ship progression.

Love my Asp for exploring and couldn't get rid of her. So she will be repaired all ready to go again when I get the urge to head out back into the void.
.
I have very little combat experience and also would like to build up bit of trading nest egg. Currently have a T7 that I got last month before setting out on my current exploration trip.

Was thinking about getting a Vulture for a bit of bounty hunting and upgrade my trading to a T9. Or get a Python with both Bounty and trading capability.

What would folks recommend. Thanks.

Personally I would go with what I have.

Python kitted out for trade.
Vulture for Bounty Hunting.

Python can carry more cargo than a T7 and is much nicer to fly.
Vulture is great for somebody new to combat.

So stick with the T7 and buy a Vulture. (Fully kitted out 18 - 20 mil)
You will soon have enough CR to upgrade the T7 to a Python.

You then have three of the best ships. ASP/Vulture/Python. (Until the Diamondback is released )

In the T9 I am running a very safe route in the heart of Empire space at the moment. I am making roughly 760,000 in one direction and 445,000 in the other.

If you get that, and don't mind grinding for a week or so, you'll be able to forget about getting a trader, keep that in your garage, and get whatever other ship you like.

This, than once you can afford it Conda.
the vulture is a superb combat ship that doesn't take much out of your pocket to keep.
the T9 will put everything to shame with the amount of money you can earn if you have a good route. Very low jump range however..
An anaconda can do everything including exploration and make any trade route work.

Dont get get me wrong a python is an amazing ship but if you're after efficiency while covering your bases this is the way to go.

edit I would do this in the order of T9 first, vulture, then sell the T9 for conda.
also if it were me I'd liquidate your asp and just buy it back when you get that itch, once you're in T9 country an asp is extremely cheap.
