I doubt we will ever see anything with much higher of a jump range than the anaconda does. Fdev has split of areas of space so we can't get to them. Likely to be used later for interesting things.
Yes, the Cobra is nice. I went from Sidewinder->Hauler->Cobra->Type 6->ASP but now I'm stuck until the Anaconda. That's the reason I posted this, it'd be nice if there was something in between the ASP and the Anaconda.
I expect so, it was a ship with good range in Frontier. Why else call it a courier?Imperial Courier??? we can but hope. Either that or an A++ FSD for the Clipper.
Isn't that what the Courrier is going to be ?
Although I haven't taken it for exploring, I can appreciate that.I'm currently using the Clipper for my trip to the core. Don't need a ginormous Jump Range there anyway and I really like the unobstructed canopy and the overall style of the ship. It's more like a high tech science vessel out for exploring. I just dig that more than the worn-down interiors of the Lakon ships.
My hopes are there will be a "real" exploring ship that looks like this in the future.![]()

Is there anything you currently can't do in the Asp when exploring?
People have gone around the galaxy in a SIDEWINDER.
I have seen a few youtube vids of people exploring in Vultures.
Basically, any ship can be an explorer ship, if you know how to outfit it. Personally, I use a Cobra.
