1.3 feature request - Faction news channels

I always thought it'd be interesting to have a few versions of the same news article, each with their own defined biases, depending on where you were docked.

I think it's a tad too late for feature request at this point...

I do expect the missions you can take part in to have their own version of what's happening though.

Good call! And can we relegate those which senator has been seen stepping out with which to 'Random Intergalactic Gossip' where they belong too? :D

We definitely need our news "adapted for the target audience". It makes it easier to focus, while Basking in His Glory!

Reminds me of way back when in First Encounters with the three newspapers reporting on the same news item depending on their faction ("CMDR Somedude valiantly brought justice to the evil mass murderer Senator Sosandso" "Imperial war hero Senator Soandso assassinated by terrorist"). Oh, the times... (now we only need the ing passengers)

I doubt it will come in 1.3 but Galnet is in need of a big update. I'm sure it coming now we have posters of our glorious leaders in the power play update.
