Tonight's find - binary black holes

Probably nothing too unusual if looking in the right places, but a first for me :)

Interesting sights when the lensing effects interact with each other

I traded in my cobra for a Hauler when I set out last time, just to see how it fares. Needs a bigger fuel tank is my main observation... ;)

Nice find! I haven't found any Non sequence stars for ages now. (50+K LY from Sol). In fact, I'm finding loads of solitary M class stars with zero planets.

*yawn*

Nice.

I found one in the same area, possibly the same system a few weeks back. It's a strange effect but I couldn't help thinking it's less a simulation and more of a graphical glitch due to overlapping transparency masks.

Haulers are great for exploring. 30ly range, ok fuel tank, and lightning quick fuel scooping. Got a lot of first discovered in my little hauler going about 1000ly out.

Nice! Should have gone in for a closer look!

How far were your black holes from each other?

The binary i found (already discovered by another CMDR) were 13k ls away, yet it seem the engine reflects the light between them somehow. To notice it you have to put a light source behind one, then get very close "inside" the lenticular effect. I was 300km away from one and thigs got crazy.

The one you found look pretty close.

Not sure how close they were but was much less than 13k ls. Maybe a hundred ls or so - they were in a very tight orbit.
