Just Bought a T9

I just bought a T9 and the B6 FSD, and I love it. I love the pig turning rates, I love the fatness and I love the style. The Clipper can go rethink it's whole life. I can't yet afford insurance or a full cargo of 220t (;-

, but I still love it.

Does anyone else love this pig like I do?

Yeah, my "Battle Cow" approves that post. Its worth 330 mil (A8 shields alone cost 162 mil

). Its one of the most stupid (well, if its stupid and it works, its not stupid) and fun thing i ever made in the ED:

Let me get the first spot in line to say "I told you so" if the next posting we see from you is about how you lost your T9 and didn't have insurance for it...

IMHO you would be better off buying a python instead. Swap out the shield generator for a class 4 one. You can then have 276 cargo space!
So you can trade AND have a reasonable defense if anyone attacks you.

That's what I did and never looked back.

I tried one in beta and it was cool but only carries 400 tonnes and only makes about half a million per trip, that's a lot of grinding to get it upgraded or save for a conda.

Umm, it can carry 500 tons with class 5 shields...

Just sold off the Python for the T9. Muahahaha.

Bought it. Made some cash in it but it drove me insane pushing that stubborn cow around.

Sold it. Good riddance. Back to python, though now with A7 power.

T9 just screams l00t pinata, it has the turning rate of tectonic plate movement and shields made of soap bubble water (the cheap kind). But there is something about flying something big.

Everyone should try a T-9 simply for the experience of flying such a big ship for awhile

...but I flew mine for about a week and then went back to the Python as I didn't like the shorter range on the T-0 even with a class A FSD....and the Python handles so well I missed it..now it will take me awhile longer to be able to try out an Anaconda, but I'm not in much of a hurry anyway..the Diamondback will also be out soon and I'm hoping it'll be the sort of mufti-purpose ship that appeals to my playstyle...at any rate, R+ and congrats to you on your new ship

Loot pinata is right! I hated every minute flying that coffin arround, even an NPC eagle managed to strip to shields to 0% once.

It does make you a whole lot of money though, which is why I'm no longer flying arround in a office block, so for that I'm grateful.

Also Battle Cow always remind me of the Crimson Permanent Aassurance for some reason.

Agreed. It's a shame so many people move to the T9.
