Emperor's Grace attacked the Emperor

Treason is as deep sitted in the empire as corruption is in the federation.

Pacifist and anti federation founder Marlin Duval + husband and kids was killed in suspicious circumstances.

Her brother took the reign, dissolved any pretense of democratic representation and declared himself god emperor of mankind, turning peaceloving citizens into zealous subjects.

Some totally unbiased federal historians say Henson Duval's developped OCD over his hands. People close to Henson even heard him saying "Out, damn'd spot! out, I say".

Im laughing so hard now :D.

Ok, Imperial Security Service and Emperors Grace, fanaticaly loyal to the Emperor, pledges to find the black sheep that has involved us in this mess. We will take part in ALL and EVERY CGs, that will reveal the identity of the biggest criminal of the Empire, and then:

Glory to the Emperor! Bask In His Greatness! BASK HARDER!

I wonder how the group of Commanders that aligned themselves under the banner of Emperor's Grace have to say about this incident.

My thoughts above your post. I can only say that its the first time in history of gaming, when devs have screwed a group of players like that :D. is it normal that i cant stop laughing?

There is an ancient Empire saying: "All Imperials are honourable, but some are more honourable than others."

It seems it's all about whose brand of "honour" is "right."

The problem here is the Emperors Grace player group is far too nice to be an actual Imperial faction.

Look not even one of it's members has murdered anyone for personal gain, and you call yourselves Imperials.

Dark times when anyone can get so close to our beloved Emperor. This stinks of federal treachery. They are too few in numbers yonwin by force so they try to unravel us from within with false flag attacks and weak minded traitors. The Empire will prevail.

Ive already killed several traitors in Clippers on the Volungu battlefield today. These treacheries cannot be tolerated! All of these backstabbing rats will die in the name of his greatness!
Hail the Emperor!

Thanks for the nice words. Actually, its tempting to embrace a RP of the "baddest guys in the galaxy"... Its just we are hardcore Imperials and love the Emperor. Our motto is "BASK HARDER"! We will see.

Bask In His Greatness!

Look, look, just because there's an organisation in Elite called "Emperor's Grace" doesn't mean that this group of Commanders who happen to call themselves "Emperors Grace" are anything to do with that other lot with the really bad press.

Completely different bunch of guys!

It's, like, totally unfair. The former seem to have a bad rep for (allegedly) trying to bump off emperors. The latter are a fun-loving bunch of knockabout crazy party guys you'd just love to hang out with! They are totally not the same organisation.

The Commander group just called themselves a vaguely similar name for traditional reasons.

You see, way back when, in the Imperial Court, a bunch of NPC power junkies were trying to think up a name. "Test", "Goon" and "C.O.D.E." were taken. They were stumped. They sat and pondered in silence, coming up with nothing. Then, without warning, the NPC tea lady tripped on a rug and spilled tea all over the place... and shouted "Emperor's Grace! I can't believe I did that! Crap!".

The NPCs leaped out of their chairs as one. "That's it! We'll call ourselves C.R.A.P.! No, wait, I've got an even better idea..."

And thus Emperor's Grace was born.

Now, if you look closely, you'll see that the (allegedly) emperor-snuffing-inclined organisation spells their name with an apostrophe. The unrelated Commander group (the happy-go-lucky fellows who are really really nice) spell their name with no apostrophe.

Emperors Grace (totally fun, would never try to kill off their boss with poison)

Emperor's Grace (bit iffy, don't eat the salmon mousse at their dinner parties)

On top of that, the fire alarm at Emperor's Grace rings out a semitone higher than the others.

And neither of them are related to Grace of the Emperor. The splitters.

...also not to be confused with La gracia del Emperador, who have much better synchronised dance moves at the yearly Imperial Faction Ball.

After all, how many factions in the Empire are called , Emperor's Grace, Or Citizens Forum, or Patrons Principles or Empire Party some variation.
Many different systems and even if they are all one big faction, the actions of one group based in one system doesn't incriminate anyone else under the banner.

It is the Emperor's Grace of HR 706 that are behind the attack

That said, any group aligned with Senator Patreus might now find their loyalty facing examination.

As theyre his Coterie, not likely they could or would ask without his say so.
