Check your address in the new store

Hi,

I you expect a physical delivery, go in and check your address in the new store.

After logging into the new store, I noticed my address has been changed after conversion to new store. My Country had been changed from Denmark to U.K.

Same my country was changed from Denmark to UK and my first name was changed to Elite .... Ok I admit I liked that one :)
 
I emailed support about this yesterday as I cannot change the addresses to have a separate shipping and billing address, they even got my name wrong on the new store.

Finally I can change it now it reads properly!

I can log in to the new store but I had to reset my password because it wasn't accepting my credentials. However, I now find I cannot login to the backers app and if I try resetting my password it just takes me back to the store page where I have just reset my password to login to the store. I just had to update my post code and all other details were correct in the store's "my account" info.

I live in the UK, and they STILL got my address wrong! There is NO CHANCE anything would be delivered to me, because it was missing both my post code AND the village I live in (they had the near-by town but that's no use for identifying where my street is).

Someone at Frontier really screwed-up here. How hard can it be to import a database of addresses from the Backer App?

I also got rid of "N/A" from Company (& Fax), since that would look stupid in an address.

Note also that when I queried support@zaonce.net about a pending change of address I have they said I'd have to email them again after the change in order to ensure the physical goods (Premium Boxed Edition) got delivered to the correct address.

I'm paraphrasing above, so have the quotes:

If it is just the premium boxed edition you are receiving email me after you move and I will update you address manually for you.
 
I had the same problem

I changed my address on the site but it did not change on the pending order.

I then emailed them and informed them that it was going to the wrong address, they informed me I can change it on the site.

I have emailed them back and informed them that No I cannot change the pending orders address.

Waiting for a reply back.

I just noticed that too. My address is now correct, but the incorrect address is still on the order. Someone at Frontier please fix this !

Thanks Jens: good call! My details were spectacularly wrong: title changed to first name, first name to second, road address deleted, Post code set to 00000

Never mind, I'll forgive FD everything at the moment as they have delivered the alpha on time. A Very Merry Christmas everyone :D

This happened to quite a few including me :) Just edit it and it's all good.
 
Yes, that has closed now the shop is open. Check your details though...FD may be pre-empting the vote by making you English!!

Thanks. All checked. and fixed. :) Wish there was a complete list of my stuff in there. I added a copy of the ED score on CD, but there's no sign of that in the shop or pre-order.
 
Wont this tread be better placed in the general forums, i recon so all backers can have a heads up and edit the adress info and similar transfer info issue to the New store.

Me too (yes, a me too post... I must be more imaginative)...

Changed my postcode to something meaningful and added my county in and removed the N/A entries....

The one thing that's bothering me is that I'll be doing a major data-migration shortly... Really do not want to experience these issues in an environment where it really does matter (the DM I'll be doing IS in an environment where it's critical that information is correct)... No stress... Luckily I have Alpha to distract me until the new Year when the work gets serious... :D
