Nice. I'm still giggling at some of the crazy names I see in this game. And that Clipper pilot needs to lay off the missiles and go more energy weapons.
And you might want to re-think your loadout and toss in some energy weapons to drop shields faster and make them burn through any shield banks they might have.
Those first two FDL CMDRs did NOT know how to fly their ships. I also applaud the dangerous use of "boost ramming", an old tried-n-true gankster maneuver.

Ha Yeah, I do ram a lot in combat it's a good tactic :)


My previous loadout was more energy based but I found the FDL suffers from heat damage fairly quick and heat sinks mean I can't take as many shield boosters

I actually find that Class 2 Multicannons do around the same DPS as 4 pulse lasers but the pulse lasers use more energy, pretty set on my Plasma Accelerator though

Ive played around with a few loadouts and this one has had a lot of success so far, another reason is that with 4 Multicannons I can mostly keep 4 pips on shields as they use very little thermal energy to constantly fire and a few seconds break in shooting means they can fire for another minute or so

I do see where your coming from though :)

Good points. Heat and energy management in the FDL is a female dog at times. I've got one myself but rarely use it, preferring the Vulture instead, which of course has its own set of management problems. But dat maneuverability....oh man, does that Vulture move.

Yeah I've come up against a few good vulture pilots before, though I think both the vulture and FDL need to have those power issues for balance control otherwise they would OP
