Newcomer / Intro Black Market won't buy my goods?

When I go to Black Market under contacts and request to sell my illegal goods, it informs me I have none (psstt.....I dooo.) Am I missing something crucial here?

Black market goods are either scooped in space por illegal in the system you are in. I.e slaves are illegal in most systems.

I am in fact trying to sell slaves! They're definitely illegal in my system (they're even marked as illicit goods.) I think it was LHS 3447.

Might be a bug....... Try another black market....? Flying around with slaves onboard is hazardous I know ....

I have tried a few different black markets, and I'm not so keen on flying around with slaves all day. They are slaves, not Imperial slaves, if that matters. Maybe because I purchased them?

Illicit but not Stolen?
Might be wrong but I think you sell stolen goods to black market and not something illegal but that you bought in another system where it was legal.

Might be better of flying to anarchy and killing the pirates that come and try to rob you.....there will be lots !!! Then dump the slaves...

You are wrong, a black market should take both illicit and stolen stock.

Okay, I eventually found a black market that buys them. I'm still not sure if it's a bug or just that not all black markets accept slaves. >_>

Good to hear also a lot of systems where they are illegal will have BB misssion for them if you them on board already its a qucik profit, but as another poster put you attract not only pirates but need to be wary of suthority ships scanning you.
