Newcomer / Intro A bit of a tadoo!!

Hi Guys,

Just started replaying after a long break.

Managed to get the hang of flying etc (bit like riding a bike!!) but have hit a bit of a problem.

Completed my first bulletin board job, helping out with some much needed food. It was a standings increase reward (apologies if this is the inorrect wording, play a lot of Eve Online!).
Problem I have is that now I only have 34 cr to my name and cannot do anything commodity trading wise.

Dont feel I am confident enough yet to take on pirates, so thought I would quit and start again.

is there a way to start a new experience. There only seems an option to save and exit, and of course, with no money, I don't really want to save this experience.

Any help is gratefully appreciated.

You can restart main menu/options/clear save i believe.
Also with 34cr you can get missions to deliver stuff, they give you the stuff, no cr required :)

Scrap & biowaste (to industrial or Agri world systems) are usually with a 34cr price range.

It it would just take you ages!

Well, if you're going to clear your save anyway, there's no reason not to go and shoot some pirates.

If you die, you start again in your Sidewinder with 1000cr. If you don't, and win, you'll get a bounty.

Just put 4 pips to weapons when shooting, 4 to shields when taking fire, don't take on any ships bigger than Eagles or Adders and watch their combat ranking on the target information panel - don't attack anything ranked competent or higher.

Now go, young space hero! Go out and learn something!
