I, like 100+ people, saw them doing the wing exploit on a stream versus an other group which didn't used this exploit.
So he can says what he wants, there is a video showing the contrary.

The video was made when everyone used the TACTIC , before it was deemed to be an exploit. Check the date, then check the date of Lonewarriors thread reply from the moderator announcing that they now considered it an exploit.
Last word on that subject, need to get back to Zaonce to kill me some Code Hunters

Until then, I'll be working for the alliance since they pay well.I seen it also. They are exploiters which makes their constant in game complaining about combat loggers hilarious.
The sad thing about this story is the instancing that makes otherwise interesting situations rather toothless.
Let's take a step back from this whole Wing shield thing and blame the people actually responsible:
Beta testers who did nothing but buy ships on the beta server they can't afford on the live server, then take selfies all day long. If Wings content had actually been tested properly, I don't think this would have hit live.

Do you know for certain the footage was recorded two days ago?
The bug is older than that.
Edit: thats the shield-insta-rechage bug. Only became really evident after wings...

If you are referring to the skirmish where the twitch player died twice, lost his cool because of it. Called members of Code homophobes, banned us from the channel etc etc
And the thing they could find to cry about was I high-waked out, WITH shields. To then return nearly two minutes later, to the same battle.
2 minutes!!! That is a lot of time for shields to charge.

I appreciate that for gameplay purposes 1 on 1 seems fairer and is admitedly fun to do... But..
Given the setting of the game and the persistent nature of the game universe why would you deliberately start a fight without knowing you have a massive advantage if you are playing as a pirate?

I haven't watched it. It doesn't work on my mobile. Just to be clear, did the player leave with full shields then return 2 minutes later, as Bosun suggests?

Really not sure what point you are trying to make?
I COULD have gone back to a station to repair in that time. So if it makes you feel better, lets say i did.
If in this huge amount of time, I had gone to a station. Celled, Repaired, Rearmed, Re-bought cells and headed back. Would I still have apparently exploited?
What I actually did was jump to another system ( with shields and some cell charges ( you can see me using them in the video when i returned ), dropped to normal space and then went to get a delicious drink of Ribena (the sugar free kind), scratched my left bollox ( may have been the right. I am sorry i cannot be more accurate ) and I probably talked to my cat ( she likes tuna but not a huge fan of rabbit ) before putting my headset back on to see what was going on.
Then I jumped back into the system, someone threw up a beacon and I flew to it.
The current game does not remember shield status. That I cannot effect.
I did not jump out and straight back ( watch the video ).
So yeah, if you want to class that as exploiting.. Fill your boots.. I did it ..

some code guys were at the nav point , i just hunt kill code on sight
It was specifically introduced with wings! There was no way to get instantly pulled back into an instance the moment you enter supercruise!
