Probably. if you get within 20m the stuff they are giving off seems to push you away. There is no obvious message. Would be very keen to hear from Brookesy about what we should be listening for. otherwise it is a bit anti climatic. Red Wiz is a bit of a legend now ;) well done.

I don't have any recordings, just screen shots. I am sure the others present will dig deep in the audio analysis.

Im in He Bo now.. no new missions or contacts that relate to the UA. I landed with 2 UA's, now only have 1. Not sure why it disappeared.

Oh ya.. i wasn't interdicted by any Thargoids while traveling to he Bo from Timo. Thought for a minute it was a homing beacon lol.

No sound recording programs atm.. but even if I did, my canister is down to 1% I believe. if I jettison it.. it may pop.

Do you need to be in a wing to find the SSS with the Unknown Artefact? I've known for the last four days that the UA is found in a SSS, but I've been grinding SSS's 8+ hours a day since then and I haven't found it yet. I find it odd that 4+ UA's have been found in the last couple of hours. I had to have been doing something wrong, unless I'm just extremely unlucky. I'll be pretty annoyed if the reason I wasn't finding it is because I wasn't in a wing...

lol, that makes sense in retrospect. Hindsight is wonderful, shame it doesn't work backwards...

Okay folks, I've grabbed what looks like some decent video.
I'm just trying to process and upload it now, bare with me!

One quick note: the artefact rotates slowly in space emitting an idle noise then will seemingly play an encoded message (could be the insectoid language mentioned by those looking at the files).
When it plays the message, which starts with a fog horn/whale type noise, some iconography on the side lights up (I think to indicate that the message is playing).

No, RedWizzard wasn't in a wing when he found it I don't think. I don't think that's a requirement anyway (being in a wing shouldn't affect what spawns - though it may affect whether you are able to do anything in the SSS!). Maybe it was today that the Feds decided to ship a few of them...

I'd be interested in the locations of sightings. They are clearly being transported somewhere (and from somewhere). If we can get a list of known locations, we might be able to work out some kind of route (or maybe not).
