So it's got the same effect we saw in the original Elite Mystery Solver video and came from the same place he claimed it came from?

Looks like we got double trolled, and he was telling the truth about finding one all along.

Now, of course, we need to figure out what, if anything, they actually mean - I have a feeling this part isn't going to be as fun as the original SSTV/Voyager Plaque hoax was, sadly.

I agree that the first thing that came to mind with the audio was Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
At 3x-4x speed it sounds like a trombone or trumpet playing 2 tones. Down-up Down-up Up-down.
There is more to the audio but that's the first thing that immediately jumps out.
