So the coordinates are relative to Polaris, which makes sense considering it's supposed to be their home system? I hate repeating myself, but it seems so obvious.

I have to say, The Space Texan has been bang on the money so far. Ignore him at your peril I guess.

Please list everything he's actually said so far that has been confirmed.

1) Look in Strong Signal Sources.
2) ...

He also said you should go in a wing and it turns out that's not necessary.

Again, no disrespect meant but why are people giving TheSpaceTexan such authority over this?
I've followed the thread religiously, and he clearly seems to be one step ahead. Hasn't been wrong yet from what I've seen.
It's simpler for me to believe him than someone that didn't recognize the shape of the UA or the fact that it corrodes your ship pretty quickly.

Take it one step at a time guys, you have the first and major important bit, the unknown Artifact. Take it slow and enjoy the riiidddeeee.

Hmm, the artefact is found inside human wessels. It cannot survive in space. That means, there must be a place near, where the artefact can survive, which is in the hands of humans, I suppose ...

Shall we find the place first, where humans hide the aliens?

- has anyone tried to fsd wake scan the T9 after it jumps out of the SSS?
- TheSpaceTexan might be three steps ahead, meaning you don't need the UA at that point (if his journey to SagA* and the UA are related at all), but you may need the UA to 1) listen and decode and then 2) do whatever with it and possibly 3) do something else before you get sent somewhere or maybe not.

Carry on guys, sad it's not morse code (would have been nonsense tbh but hey), I'm sure someone with twice my IQ on here will soon get behind the message.

Plus the "head" of the thing looks like an alien face, somewhat.
Great that's going to give me nightmares.

Sleep well. Fear not the Dark.

That's not possible - at least, not with what we've been doing so far. The artefact loses integrity in normal space so fast that you can't get any repeating sequence out of it; the extended audio clip I posted is the result of dropping it, listening, picking it up again (at < 9% integrity) then dropping it again (back to 100%).

Does the 'message' start again from the beginning after dumping it again? Can you just do multiple recordings. Also is the message different depending on the system you are in?

We need you to keep doing this, maybe for 10 mins to try and get the whole thing.

The only way anyone is getting that thing to the center of the galaxy is if they work in relays. Multiple wings, overlapping each other is the only way to get there without going boom beforehand.

It's a very interesting story, I'm keen to see how it pans out.

Polaris ? There is a permit required. Permits are issued by humans i guess right ?

You know if this whole thread is supposed to be about decoding this mystery then why is one of us not telling when he looks like he has the answer or part of it?

Are we all going to do the same once each one figures it out? Post a "I know what it is - have fun figuring it out guys" and then disappear off the thread? If so, that's kind of negating the point of the thread really.

So I think the origins of the unkown artifact may be somewhere that passes through California Sector HW-W C1-7 when heading to leonard nimoy station which is proven somewhat by this video:
