Been in the Wolf 865 ( McCulley Ring) system for a while, question where should I go next to further my ED education

The real answer is: Anywhere you feel like. There's a whole galaxy out there, don't restrict yourself to small parts of it.

Although that may at first seem a bit of a wisecrack answer, it really is a very good answer.

If you have a particular role you'd like to play for a while let us know and folks will be happy to give advice. Personally I'm addicted to exploring so I suggest you head over to the Elite Explorers forum and join us out in the dark ... we have cookies :D

Fit a decent FSD drive & go & explore the nearby systems. Just jump around places, honk the discovery horn, visit the local stations & outposts, sell the discovery data to fund your trip, pick up a few missions & see where they lead. Make a note of goods prices & decent shipyards as you go, this information will be valuable to you later on for sure. Basically get to know your local neighbourhood, spend a few hours looking around & by this time you will have a better idea of what to try next :)
