Ships Federal Dropship : good ship or ... as bad as ugly ?

Everything is in the title. I shoot this ships (NPC) so easily with my Cobra... so I am wondering if they really have any interest ?

A flying Irons... but I have no shirt to iron... :/

All but the most difficult NPC aren't much of a threat singly so don't base your opinion on that, I've flown the Fed drop ship a few times in beta releases and it can be a sound multipurpose ship, the weapon locations are good and it has a decent amount of power, however jump range isn't great (17 LY with A grade FSD) and speed and cargo capacity isn't as good as the Clipper.

Here's a modest build from ED shipyard for a high end build expect to pay over 60 mil

If you're bounty hunting might I suggest the Vulture this build is around 9 mil including insurance, at a good RES it'll make about 1mil/hour

If you're looking for a combat build and have only 10 mil, Vulture is a wonderful ship.
