Guy crushing ships deliverated on Gerorge Lucas station

I was under the impression there's no wrong side of the slot. The lights are there to ensure proper orientation not traffic direction.

As I said, not everyone or even a large amount have constant recording software. Some people might get caught that way but not many.

Like in real life law enforcement.
If some get banned, the others might realize there is a chance of being caught and think twice before doing it.

Video evidence of both of them boosting out of the "wrong" side of the slot, line astern, one immediately following the other then one doubling back, into the station, to make sure of the "kill" might tend towards proving intent....
I beleive in a case like this a simple screenshot would do. When a griefer is grinding you to dust against the inside of the space station, I should think its difficult to disprove it was anything but intentional. To pull that off takes some deliberation, or a pilot who is so stupendously pathetic, they should be roundly banned just for their towering ineptitude.

Really, Frontier should ban these little <expurgated> <expurgated> <expurgated> moronic <expurgated> <expurgated>

As is obvious, everyone here knows exactly who the OP is talking about. It's not as if they exactly hide what they are doing.

Ban them, let it be known that they are banned and that their behaviour will not be tolerated. Because at the moment they are making Frontier look ridiculously toothless and unable to police their own game from idiots who have no intention in actually playing the game.

Just a thought OP, but if you haven't already selected the sidewinder option, have you tried removing upgraded modules from the insurance screen ?

I don't get why they don't do it based on damage, if you take away more than 2 rings on shield for example. A speed limit is stupid, especially if you're a small ship hitting something big. He's not even going to feel a tickle but you get punished for it regardless. IMO you should be fired at if you down shields, or at least a big fine.

I think you need to read the original post ref the speed limit, providing your under the 100 limit you should be OK, is it really that much of a problem being asked to reduce your speed when entering and leaving a station which the sole purpose of safe guarding your ship and it's cargo from morons that intentionally speed ram you just for fun, I personally don't think it is.

I know it may not account for the same morons that are intentionally crushing ships, but this will all be part of the 1.3 beta update due later this month, you may very well find that this gets tweaked, updated or even revised, so lets wait and see what happens once the beta has been put through it's paces, you never know..... but remember if you wan't to go faster then you still can, just need to be extra careful.

Why not going to solo play i always go solo to upgrade and i always making sure i got enough money for rebuy always make sure you have enough money to rebuy your ship.

I have, but I would have needed 78.000 more than I had to pay the insurance with a debt of 600.000 (which would have been perfectly acceptable)

Because I don't want to let my game be ruined by some people.. Because I didn't buy a game for 60€ only to miss the best feature available atm, multiplayer. Well, it'd be the best feature if some people wouldn't have to ruin the game for everyone else.... ;)
Because I got overexcited at having 22 LY range.

Yow. I know that smarts friend, but I wouldn't give up yet. You'll still have enough to buy yourself a viper or cobra and some outfitting, you'll be back to where you were before you know it. Kit yourself up and hit the Quivira CG hard, you can net more than a few million over the weekend and get back on track.

In Elite Dictionary, these rammers are hence called "Serial Ram Killers" which ram unsuspected commanders inside space stations.
Pips, pops, roids and rammers. Aka Serial Ram Killers :D

How to shoot things up in a station with no trouble?

Hi, just got blown up in Heheng station by someone who I assume was Code. No warning and not carrying one of the Comm Goal cargoes either, but that's by the by. The weird thing was that I was blown up inside the station, my friend was outside, and the pirate didn't become wanted or get shot at by the station himself. In fact, from his conversation on local, it almost sounded like they had control of the station defences. What's up there?

PS My friend later became wanted despite not shooting anything or comitting any misdemeanors he was aware of....

The attacker may have been lurking just outside the No Fire Zone. If your friend returned fire while still inside the zone, he'd be attacked by the station, and the attacker may have been hoping to provoke him into doing just that. So, while not actually controlling the station defences, he was using them to his advantage.

The station was definately firing, but the death message was "you were killed by Commander XXXXX"

My friend didn't attack him. The scale on the radar is confusing , but pretty sure the guy was inside.

Is there any way to tell if someone is in Code or not?

Hard to believe from reading this forum, but station killing/ramming isn't what CODE do...
