Im halfway there in my FDL. I get 18.8LY to the gallon but dear Christ does the small fuel tank get on my . At 91% because this one time I dropped from witch space INTO a star. Fun times!

Becareful with modules. In FDL hull is strong, but dropping and high temperature causes high modules damage.
