Ferrari designed ship

I would like to see some radical ultra-luxury ships like this, but the problem is balancing usage. If you only have one type, what's meant to be a rare ship will be common. If you have a few variants, suddenly there's almost as much yachts as combat ships.

FD projects 30 different ships by the time the game is "complete" but I think even that number feels a little low.

Yes, I agree, 30 ships might not be enough for more variety. However, we should keep in mind that FD needs to design those ships completely with interiors, and from that point, 30 ships is a hell of a lot of work. I could not even do one in Blender...

But then, ultra luxury ships would be ultra expensive. That would certainly reduce the numbers. Especially when luxury comes at the expense of cargo, shields and firepower.

Yeah, there's no doubt it'll be a ton of work. 30 ships is a big undertaking in that regard, but I still have concerns about variety. I feel like I'm seeing the same few ships everywhere I go, and I feel like there "would" be many more. It's a tricky situation.
