Diso Corn - The best place to sell it is

Edit - If you want to make the most out of your corn and support the Alliance then head for the Alliance system of Jaeowair where you will get the best rates. Its about 160 light years from Diso. 50 tonnes should get you about 800000cr. Nearest station is about 9 ls from the star.

There may be a better place but this way you help your pocket and help the chaps who lined it too. Nearest platform is about 150 ly from the star.

Updated - Theres a traed community goal at Persephone. 160ly so you can take your corn there and make full profit and join the new trade goal.

Any other places worth while?

Good idea?

I sold my 50 at Mundjiga in the empire......a little less. I think the 50t got me 775,000 credits.

Just found a much better place than I thought at first so edited opening post

I tend to sell mine it witchhaul - not sure of the exact figures / profit for this but it has always seemed good as is part of a much publicised rares run.
Basically I fly by the rule of at least 100ly from source & as far as I can be bothered :)

Edit: interesting info about the alliance system, I'm looking to increase my rep with them so cheers, Ben Ryder.

Mines going straight to Alioth.

Looking to get to respected ally with them (alioth independants) before 1.3 arrives.
Its 140ly out so am getting 770000 profit just from the corn anyway :)

Been away and just got to diso with 88 tons of crop harvesters, having read on gal net they were wanted. No sign of any sign up in shifnal port, or at bao, read on another thread it's all over :( so why is gal net still promoting it? Sorry if this is off topic. Confused.
Never mind, off to jarowair with a hold full of diso ma corn ;)

I did exactly the same last night. Ought to have been taken off galnet as soon as it ended

Quick question are people just getting the Diso Corn and not filling up the rest of the cargo space and what are you bring back to diso?

I just took the corn in a throwaway ship because I didn't want to be in that area any longer than need be. From what I saw on my few trips there, there isn't a whole lot one can trade in to generate a decent profit because the food prices are minimally profit generating at best. (like 100 cred or less profit per ton)

I'm taking mine to 78 Ursae Majoris and selling it at the Alliance station so I can get the Alioth permit. Not bothering to fill up with any other cargo or bring anything back, just speeding the Corn to its destination over and over. The only stuff I could bring back has minimal profit of ~100 per ton or less.

I've been taking it to another system that sells rares, so I make about 140k on the reverse trip. 200k if there were a lot in stock (I don't wait for the restock).

However my current destination system is unnecessarily far away, so I plan to find a rares station 50LY closer as this will increase my overall efficiency.

I've been spending the trade money as I get it to make the ultimate bulk-rare trading-ship - upgraded the jump range on my Asp, made it lighter and faster by A-grading all my B-grade stuff. Pumped up the defenses without pumping up mass (much), etc. With 50 tonnes of corn, I'm getting ~27LY jump range in a fully armed and shielded ship :D

Of course, doing all that outfitting instead of just trading corn means I haven't earned as much as if I did none of the upgrades... but this way is more fun :)

Biowaste. It's a much needed and fitting commodity to jettison after PC pirate interdiction but before I escape with an hyperspace jump.
I fill up on rares from all around the Old World systems.

Good idea think I will do the same to unlock said permit too.

As for the other replies is good to know I am not the only one not bothering with random stuff, I was just jumping to Momus Reach myself but will try what Saint is doing!

Just point of information, all rares max out at 160ly distance. After that, price is same.

Also, when is the Fed prez going to 78 UM? Rumor has it she's going to get murdered there.
