A Movement in Exploration (The Planets - Jupiter)

I love your starsoul video.... I like the way the song and images tell a story.

This one is great too. The photography is very impressive indeed.

We'll done, sir.

Must spread rep ....

Very nice atmospheric video.:) Nothing at all what I imagined when I read the title.

It's part of a series by Gustav Holst: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Planets

I felt Jupiter was perfect for exploration. I may in fact do the others, each for a different profession. Mars (the bringer of War) for combat, maybe Mercury (the Winged messenger) for trading, and Saturn (Bringer of Old Age) for Mining ;) (bad-dum-tsh!)

Nice. How long did it take you to set up the (near) perfect occlusion eclipse at ~2:45?

(also, can I request that you do one set to this?)

Excellent stuff CMDR, I think it was better than starsoul by a good deal. You could practically title this: "why we explore",
+rep for you and that wonderful little green short bus that looks so proud to be dancing with sgr A*

Excellent work!!!!

I can't wait to see what we can do if they ever give us a decent camera drone.
*sigh* I have to hook up my new card with shadowplay. I've been horribly lazy about system building. :(

I am going to start calling that brick of yours "The Toad" and I'm not joking. Also I couldn't help but smile either in awe or...something, at the video.

I have to agree with Muri. While starsoul was amazing, this one is brilliant. Mossy, I must say that when I see your type 6 I always think of the "little engine that could" :)

again, brilliant.

Awesome work as always Mossfoot - can't rep you as I apparently need to share it around more ;)

I like the idea doing the different professions too.

My previous video for Starsoul seemed to go down rather well (https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=137604 ) so I decided to compile another video using footage from my journey to Sagittarius A*
Enjoy!

(I posted this in General, but it's almost guaranteed to disappear off the face of the earth there I just realized)

Ah, that music is from Willow, right? Took some moments until I recognised ...

EDIT: No wait, it´s not. Man, from what is that *scratching head*
EDIT II: Haha, I know that melody from the band Bathory - Hammerheart. But this version? mh.
EDIT III: Here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pX1Swx9MJv8
EDIT IV: Ah. oh, haha, didn´t read. Don´t know Holst anyway, but maybe you like the version above nonetheless.

The music always makes me think of Conan the Barbarian, personally ;)

talking to yourself is normal, talking to yourself extensively is a sign of deep space madness
