Mhhh, just a thought. In all the systems we could build outposts or colonies, why choose a cluster with gigantic stars that emit a whole hell lot of solar winds, will last few millions years and then go nova wiping everything away, and have frightening things inside like MAIA B, a planetary black hole?

Pleiades are beautifull, but i will colonize in boring places away from gigantic stars, like where is Sol, just to say.

That´s a point, but they don´t seem to need to care about such things in 3300. Look at the position of some some stations ... and when you are fuel scooping next time realize where you are ...
They must have found a technology which provides pretty good protection against heat and radiation.
