You managed to get to an ASP and lack Basic ingame knowledge like this? Respect!
if an NPC Viper does this to you than I suggest try another game...
A: put 4 pips into shields when she shoots at you OR
B: fly evasive maeuvers so she doesnt hit you OR
C: use Chaff OR
D: put 4 Pips into shields when she shoots at you OR
E: Kill her before she kills you OR
F: How about all of the above together?
Seriously though try hello kitty might fit you way better as a game...

If a ship worth 50 mills cant go head on an npc viper thats just ..... i run 2 pips in shields and all in weapons.Any weapon loadout suggestion for an asp?

Playing badly, at a guess. Get better, or get a more powerful ship- whichever you prefer. The combat tutorials are great, give them a go.

4 pips in shields is Much Stronger than 2. But then your weapons capacitor runs down.
So the trick is to switch the distribution when you're taking hits, and when your dealing out the pain.

PS I always liked a mix of beam lasers and multicannons in my Asp. Sometimes with some railguns maybe. Because railguns are cool.

Thank you for your post i think i will go ahead grab a vulture finish CG in top 5% and grab an fdl
Not interested in so much strugle with asp worth 50 mills when a 20 mills vulture can take SSS with 3 condas in it.ASP is just an explorer who can defend himself against some weak targets on exploration trips.Best of luck to all who are going in combat as an ASP beacouse i am not going back to it ever EVER again.
PS. just noticed it has only A4 Power distributor and it is supposed to fire 6 weapons.....Broken...
