Suggestion: Stop making 'He killed me' threads...

The people who killed you get an extra kick out of reading your pain on the forums.

Don't communicate with your killer, no matter how angry you are.

Addendum: I shortened the OP because some people seem to have misunderstood my intention. Or understood it, but delibrately misunderstood it, dunno.

Let them express whatever, there's enough fascist policing going on in these forums as it is.

Personally, I like to know what areas of space have become more dangerous than normal. Also, without such posts we wouldn't know that explorers heading out to Sagittarius A* now need to watch their backs.

Whining posts which add up to nothing else I can live without, but if they add the back story, the punch by punch telling of the fight, then I enjoy reading about it.

Yeah I wasn't referring to the 'good fight' or 'travel warning' posts, more the other posts. I simplified the OP to make it absolutely clear what I was talking about.

To be honest these are rare compared to the "Insurance death" threads.

@Ozrix84, as part of the terms and conditions that everyone signs up to when joining the forum they acknowledge that this is not the place to attack any individual or group of players which involves calling people cheaters, griefers, bad players and generally everything else. Not really Fascist when the Mods are simply keeping the rules.
Don't like it? Go to reddit, almost anything goes there...

Edit: This is not a go at you, simply an explanation of why you may think the mods are heavy handed. Personally I'd be happy seeing much less of the repeated threads and more organised moderation but I know some people like a messy forum :)

Fascist as in controlling. You can never control anything. Censorship is part of the problem, not the solution.

You can dampen the meaning of what you said as much as you want, but the truth is that you'd like to see the world to your own image. I'm not judging you, guilty as charged. I hope I don't get banned for this.

For misusing the word "fascist"? I'd be surprised. You're far from being the first to use it incorrectly.

I don't want to get into a debate about the root meaning of the word, there's plenty threads about that. I mean the critique of 'authority'.

I'm just confused as to why giving advice on how not to feed people who like hurting you is fascism...
Nevermind, see you around.

Fascism means much more than "controlling" plus it comes pre-loaded with a lot of potential offence. You probably want "draconian". (Although you are still exaggerating, the moderation here is pretty relaxed compared to many forums.)

[never mind...]
Yes, one could, but it's better to stay in context. I don't see any real difference between an individual trying to force certain behaviour on others on internet forums from a collective that does the same on a larger scale. The foundation is the same as far as I'm concerned. You can laugh me off, but if you carefully look at how society operates, you'll see that the same behaviour is operating in yourself.
