if you have a python. and a 300 cr fine wanted

for some reason when in a RES I end up with a 300cr fine quite often.. now that you cant land in the fraction main big port without getting killed. "learned that the hard way" if you have a large ship. you would have fly to a different fraction system with a large port to pay the 300cr fine right?

I am just a few mill away from a python or a Fur de lance.

with the fur de lance being the same size as my asp one would not have that problem yea?

thanks

Medium pad for the Python.

Also, you can go to an independent system with Fed station to pay off your fine. You won't be wanted there. Usually 1 or 2 jumps away.

yup take that pyth to an outpost, or if u dont have much choice, line up with the slot about 10k out, request docking, 4 pips engine and floor it , just out of the slot max the systems pips, hit the landing gear and reverse those thrusters. You want an easy run it to maintain max speed. Maintain at least 1 boost jump at all times, if u do get scanned, turn away, boost fly out again, reset and go again( remember to check ur docking permissions)... and lastly pray to whatever god u like, that its not a t9 in the slolt as u come in :p

Good advice except that reverse doesn't slow you down any quicker.

When you throttle to zero, reverse thrusters automatically fire.

You don't have a fine, you have a bounty. That's why you're being shot at.

The reason you're getting those 300 credit bounties is because you're hitting 'innocent' ships. Paying more attention to what's around you will avoid some of this, the rest can't be helped, the AI loves to jump in front of guns for some reason.

no I have fines never a bounty. I have had ships and ports attack many times with just a fine. and never more that 600 cr.

I am well aware of hitting not wanted targets. that's not whats happening.................. on many times just as my target explodes I get the cr notice,. then I am wanted. many times I have fired on a red target and got wanted. I don't kill them to get a bounty put on me..I get the hell out there

You couold be firing on 'wanted' ships before your targetted ship scan is complete.

yea I have noticed this. so now I leave my kill scanner deployed. and I make sure to kill scan them befour switching to weapons. even if there red you have to scan them witch is dumb

Since when can't you land anywhere due to a fine?

I always get fined in RES. I always leave the rest, land, pay the fine and am back in the trade. Never got attacked anywhere outside the RES. Has this changed lately?

ive only been attacked at the big cubes and tube port of the fraction you owe the fine. you can dock at any open port

If you know how to do it it is very easy to enter a large star port with a bounty on your head.
I do it all the time and have never been caught by patrolling security.
If you are allied with a faction it is even easier.

In general security ships fly around the entrance in reasonably wide circles.
Line up with the entrance from 6/7 km or so and ask permission to dock.
Then boost towards the entrance (boosting twice is generally enough, but it depends on your distance form the entrance of course).
Break just before you enter the station.
If necessary lower your gear for enhanced breaking.
If necessary you can use chaff to stall a security scan.

It works like a charm. Never got caught during the process.
I am allied to all three major factions which apparently makes me a low priority for the security forces anyway. I can't even remember the last time I got pulled out of supercruise by security ships. They only scan me frequently when I am bounty hunting in RES or USS.
You can also use cold running, but I never do anymore.
