Reprobates at Quivira

I was tooling along doing the Quivira CG hauling basic medicines. I had to go through Quivira to get to Persephone. I was interdicted which I evaded and was immediately interdicted again which was successful. I saw 2 commander blips and then a couple more appeared. I typed in Local that I was willing to drop cargo and even abandon it so it wouldn't show as stolen. No communication whatsoever was returned. I asked 3 times. Finally I decided that since they wouldn't even ask for cargo, I would begin retreat. I engaged my frameshift drive, or tried to. It told me landing gear was deployed. Have no idea how that happened. I retracted and was about to engage hyper when one of them open fired and killed me in short order.

You guys know who you are and you threw away quite a bit of money by killing me. I went through there several times and always saw commander blips when I emerged from hyper. Once they actually managed to begin interdiction but I was already in countdown and I evaded in short order and jumped out. But most times, I can evade them before they can even get a FSI on me.

Bad move, Commanders. I know when I'm coming and you never know when I'll jump in. I also dump a heat sink just before I jump the 1st time so I can immediately jump as soon as my FSD cools down and I do. So eat my wake, boys. Muwhahahaha!!!!!!

Hey, we interdicted you. I(t) was odd because we were giving you commands but it was like you did not get it. We have the video. My wing mates saw my commands, must have been a sync issue. Sorry we destroyed you.

I'd like to see the video. You can PM me the link if you don't want it up for public consumption. I do believe you, but I want to view it to confirm my suspicions on what went wrong. I think it's most likely you were issuing orders on your wing channel. I wouldn't have seen that. When you talk to someone outside your wing, you need to make sure it says 'TO LOCAL:' (without the quotes) or 'TO CMDR Name' (without the quotes of course). Substitute the name of the intended recipient for Name . If you don't see one of those things when you are typing, your intended recipient won't see the message.

Go ahead and post it. You have my permission. And I understand why you killed me. No hard feelings. Looks like it's a sync issue as it's clear from the video you were typing in Local. I just didn't see any of it.

I am, however, curious why you don't want medicines to go to Persephone?

I finally decided to shoot as soon as I saw your hard points deploy. I am going to have to try direct if I see this type of thing again. I also worry about interdicting non-English speakers. :/

Interdicting clothing which is actually weapons is one thing. Interdicting medicines which are actually basic med is a bit low! I'd have sympathy for interdicting performance enhancers...

From what I have been told, those medicines are ending up in the hands of the still operational Quivira resistance. This war is not over, don't be fooled.

Perhaps some of them are falling into the hands into the Quivira resistance. But if you were told all of these medicines are winding up in the hands of the resistance, then the informant is either telling a bald faced lie or has been misinformed himself. I hope it's the latter. Depriving these people needed medicines is morally reprehensible. If some fall into the enemy's hands, well, sorry; no system is perfect. But I can't hear a cry for help and not respond. I started out getting 185k a run. Then it went down to 170k. The last run I made it was at 127k. But I would have kept bringing in medicines if the profit was 2k for the run. I will not ignore those in need.

Good for you. Now get in a Clipper and make sure that medicine reaches it's destination despite the objections of certain individuals and groups...that T7 is the Ford Pinto of aerospace safety.

really wish there was a sort of grouping ingame, at the very least so people can see if people are part of a pirate group by looking for that groups name, rather then having no real way of tracking who belongs to who, that way bounty hunters could hunt down pirates that do stuff like this, though they may show up as clean and thus they wouldn't really know.

Edit: and it would allow pirates to notice and avoid/hunt bounty hunters too if there are bounty hunter groups, would work both ways, but right now anyone can basically say they belong to anything and only thing they can do is refer to out of game announcements.

You may be right. Unfortunately, my Federal pension sucks so I contract my services out to various organizations who can pay my fee. I am really doing you space truckers a favor by taking this gig; the Black Hand have their own interpretation of the provided 'embargo' ROE.

Yeah. I know. The T-7 is a slug. But I can't afford a clipper and you have to be an Earl to purchase one. I'm thinking about going the Empire Military route, but I am not good at combat and I would think you would have to take combat missions at some point to get promoted to Earl.

And now it happened again. I wasn't seeing any type. I even told him that. He still destroyed me. And no, it wasn't the same Cmdr. But this is getting old. Looks like I'm about done with this CG. Thanks guys. Thanks for ruining a perfectly good CG for me. At least I got in the top 70%. Have fun. I'll go trade somewhere else. I'd like to help those in need, but when I can't even get the medicines through, there's no point in doing it.

Hey, it wasn't one of us, but I did try to snag you are Quivira. It sucks that people treat this like CoD.
