im fairly new and im a bounty hunter. my goal is to buy a Fer de Lance and i was just wondering if there is a faster way to make credits other than bounty hunting
The recognized fastest way to earn credits is rare commodities trading in the beginning until you can afford a 100 tonnes cargo ship or higher, then regular trading.
However, if you do bounty-hunting in a Resource Extraction Site in a Viper first, then Vulture, you can wrap up millions in a day easily. And I would say that is a much more fun way to do it for most players, and you especially, since you after all are aiming for a combat vessel.
Rare commodities trading in a Hauler first, then Cobra, should get you to an upgraded Viper or even Vulture within reasonable time, then you could do RES bounty-hunting after that, maybe?
Which ship would you recommend that fits the minimum 100t mark? Type 7? Asp (does 118 I think)?

Trading would have been the standard way. You get yourself a Cobra fitted for 44 tonnes cargo, and work your way up to a Type-6 with 104 tonnes and you make a profit of around 10,000 cr a minute. Then to an Asp or directly to a Type 7.im fairly new and im a bounty hunter. my goal is to buy a Fer de Lance and i was just wondering if there is a faster way to make credits other than bounty hunting
For my load-outs:
- Type 6 = 104 tonnes.
- Asp = 120 tonnes.
- Type 7 = 200 tonnes.
Type 6 is cheapest by far, even with the 20% discount on an Asp you could get in Alioth.
T-6 is cheaper.
Thanks.
I've got I think around 12million credits in assets and wallet. I've got an A-equipped vulture and around 4m in bank. So I'll go asp I think. I think the type 7 is still out of my price range.
