I think it's funny with all of the psychopath, he just killed me for no reason threads, that all NPCs that interdict you try to kill you for no reason. Straight KOS.
It's built into the game. Granted, it is much easier to avoid npc's after being interdicted. Still, when players do it, people get so bent out of shape.
I guess I'm just used to it coming from various mmorpgs, even expect it. Actually, I have to admit, when I first jumped in my Winder I was preconditioned to start looking for players to shoot at. But, after learning more about the game and how decisions affect your standing and rep, I found it more fun to have a method behind my actions, so I naturally gravitated toward smuggling and now bounty hunting.
But going on a murderous rampage is fun, so I can't knock the baddies out there.
Last note, please stop calling CMDRs greifers if they only interdicted and/or destroyed your ship once.
