A thank you to Frontier and a photographic study of sorts

I can't wait your next amazing shoots hoppryngil
...I think they are good enough to make them very official wallpapers, just put ED logo in the corner and job done :)

While I agree that they very easily could be official wallpapers, I feel adding the logo would ruin the cleanliness of the brilliant images Hoppryngil has taken. Plus it's easy enough for anyone to add it themselves through Paint.NET and a copy of the logo with a transparent background.

Looking forward to seeing what further delights await in beta 3.

My favourite aspect of the game thus far has been the audio/visual experience and I fully plan to get out there and capture some images myself. Once I earn enough credits for a decent ship with nice big windows minds you :)

Thanks everyone.

Congratulations on making the newsletter Hoppryngil! :D

I've currently got all of your images cycling through my PC background on an hourly basis and also used in my random cycling screen saver and I won't be changing them for quite some time (only adding to them hopefully )

Keep up the great work!

Remembered this thread from AGES ago and wanted a new Wallpaper so dug it out! haha!

Thanks for the resurrection of this thread Baxter and motivating me to take more in-game screens. I've been playing Elite a lot (it is without doubt my most played game) but have spent quite a bit of time earning enough cash to get a Python. Now I have the Python (as well as a few other ships) I will certainly be doing more galactic photography. I'm hoping to take the Diamondback out exploring soon :)

This one was an instant wallpaper choice, thank you for posting this lovely composed shot. +1

Yep, this is nice callback to Alien: Isolation and felt instant classic to me to.

Thanks a lot, Alien was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw that scene.

Some more shots from my travels throughout ED.

If anyone knows of any particular systems of interest worth visiting I'd love to hear them.

Cheers.
