New Community Goal at Wolf 406: Lakon Diamondback Ship Production

Well, no duration was specificed...
I do wonder it it'll be a permanent 20% discount or xx days after V1.3 release.

Most likely permanent, forever and forever, spanning towards infinity, getting close to the singularity, the meaning of life explained.

Hmm... sorry, gotten a little carried off there. I hope it will be at least two weeks, but I hope they mention it somewhere at least.

More like 20-30 million :D . And after everybody complains they will drop the price to 7-8 million.

seems extremly high for a small ship with 2 medium 2 small, almost no cargo and a good jump range

they are a lot of other ships already 10 times better than that for 100 times less money (viper, cobra, asp, clipper)

Edit: if the courier which has similar stat/size is tagged as expensive for 2 million, be sure that the diamondback will be less than 1m (maybe even 200k)

Edit2: unless the diamondback has a crazy high jump range of course

Being very interested in a new explorer ship (and doing a bit of role-playing), motivated me to do more trading for a community goal than I ever did (in fact it is the only CG where I got to top 5%).
Seeing the stats of the new ship I feel very deflated now... :(

The Diamondback is smaller than the Vulture cause it has no large hardpoints and only 1 pilot in the cockpit.

My Vulture has only one pilot, I'm using the rear seat just to store stuff like potato chips, vodka, combat stabilizers and a list of people who ticked me off recently... ;-)

Well, it would be nice to have a long jump range ship that sits somewhere between the Zorgon hauler and the ASP in price.

Like 2-3 million purchase price at most, using an A4 FSD that tops out at 1.6 mil, topping out around 10 mil when fully fitted -

...since an A5 FSD is already used by the heavier ASP, that can get above 20 mil when fitted.
