My understanding of how these things work is that there will be hundreds or thousands of different code branches that are candidates for being included in this release. Some poor person is probably the build manager who has to coordinate everything that makes it (or doesn't make it) into this build. That decision making process will probably still be going on right into today.

In other words, the patch notes haven't been issued because they are not finalized yet.

I think it's much simpler than this. The release was completed Friday, the delay is waiting for Edward Lewis to finish typing up the patch notes.

Patch notes what patch notes just write " Updated from last release " then press release button.... :D

Even at one word per minute that is an epic patch note..... I hope it is true.

Ladies and gentlemen, I think we are in for a long night. While we cheer for the indefatigable FD crew doing their best to compile and QA for a beta release today (after some serious crunching over the weekend and the bank holiday), I think it would be prudent to also add some music selections to the mix for the people that want to f5 this to death.
