I guess I'm not clear enough, I don't give a f about Anaconda, pythons, nor any of the biggest and baddest, but would like to earn something so I could atleast see progress in a hour besides the nose dive it has taken, used to earn 500,000 in hour and half, now i'm lucky to break 200,000 with 80 tons, nothing but indite, everywhere I look indite,
W H E N......I do find platinum, palladium, gold, and silver the percentage is so low 3% is common, what I am finding is 35% indite, go somewhere else, 35% indite, I have cargo holds full of indite and everything else is 1 of this and 1 of that because all I'm getting is indite all day long...yes just indite.
Have you read about the changes in powerplay, i'm not complaining about the overall changes, I am saying first they did something that mess up the % in mining by "randomization" program now I went into bounty hunting to earn since mining isn't paying (so at this point i'm trying to adapt), yet now when powerplay comes out and your bounty hunting in a RES if you accidentally hit an innocent your a wanted criminal and there is no more flying to an independent station to pay the bounty off, it stays with you for 7 days, what this means is you have to leave your system that (like me), have adapted as a home because we know the area and can earn, but now that's in jeopardy so I go back to mining only to find it worse then when I left.
It is a damn sight easier to make money now than it was at launch, and it continues to get easier, with the new higher mission bounties in 1.3, improved mining (including mining missions), a better more even spread of ships, fewer holes in weapon availability, et al. Perhaps you too should have been an early adopter and have had the pleasure of trying to grind credits without resorting to trading at launch. If you had, you would then have a better perspective and I would hope be less prone to knee jerk reactions to changes you have not even tested yourself. Thanks, yup, it's just frustrating to see earnings drop yet i'm putting more effort in and getting less out, it's not whining just wondering where the hell is this going if I have to pay for the expansion the least they can do is not nerf how we earn, but yeah, thanks, I'll just keep quite because post like this invite more trolls then helpful people.

Well then I've been misinformed because I remember reading in more then one place that expansions are to be paid as they continue to add content like landing on planets, anyway good to know that.
Hi everyone, hate to start on a sour note but the new powerplay is MORE of a let down and things will only get worse for some as game items are added but newer players find it unobtainable without hours upon hours of zombie like grind.
As of now the updates before powerplay beta have been severely nerfed earnings in especially mining, now in powerplay (when it comes out), in bounty hunting if an accidental hit on say a police while fighting in a RES cannot be paid off and it takes 7 days for it to go away this means those of us that have a home system that we have adopted could be off limits because we would be attacked by NPC'S because we are wanted.
I've been reading on the forums and I am not alone in feeling that it's just too much nerf, I also think most people will agree that the game needs more content but to nerf Cr making play before content is added is the wrong direction that FD has taken because people have to grind like zombies for hours for a lot less (especially mining), but now even bounty hunting at RES is at risk for people when accidentally hitting an innocent.
Early adopters are now gazillionaires because they got in before the heavy nerfs (and I don't hold it against them as they deserve perks), but now unless we make ED our second job we won't be able to even hope to get there, and now new ships are here but they might as well be still unplayable because of the cost and we cannot hope to join the ranks of the 1%ers because of "randomization" they have put in which has seriously nerfed Cr opportunities, anyways this is just my thought and I'm not sure if I will pay for expansions if I am not able to earn without the hope of reaching my goals.
Edit; Ok, I should ask what the hell i'm doing wrong when I've got the best equipment available to mine with but instead of an improvement in Cr per hour it has taken a spiral downwards, I used to mine for 1 to 2 hours and walk away with 500,000 to 750,000 now all I find is indite, 35% on most days and platinum 3% maybe in pristine metallic rings, and yes I know what i'm looking for as it's been how I've been earning since I started, now i'm lucky to break 200,000 with 2 or 3 hours mining...how is that even possible now that I'm in a ship with more cargo holds and instead of a 40 ton cargo hold (cobra), I make less with more, it's frustrating to go backwards since the last update included "random" program, yet I never logged off and on just mined, I don't know, i'm at a loss.
2nd edit, no the new ship isn't the problem, I've tested that by going into a cobra again and I still get low %.
I'm not in powerplay beta, only those with beta access can get those now.
Honestly no offense to the OP, but posts like this are why the Beta forum should be Read Only. The OP is entitled to his opinion and when this build gets an open release they might feel the same way.
But the Beta forum should be locked to people actually participating in the Beta.
