Seeking reimbursement.

Hi there,

Would the pilots of the Imperial Clipper and Cobra that just flew full speed out of George Lucas station, right into my face, do the decent thing and reimburse the 3,000,000+ credits your recklessness just cost me?

I'll accept it in the form of gold or palladium. Meanwhile, I recommend going solo around this station to all responsible players.

Thanks very much!

I wonder if it is still the same pair of miscreants that always seems to rumble around there? Trust me, you won´t get anything back. Plus you paid them by posting here, now they will feel relevant. :p

lol it wasnt an accident mate

Ahhh, well that changes everything!

I doubt it, they seemed to be genuinely exiting the station. Just in a exceedingly fast and exceedingly incompetent manner.

I think you've got two hopes... Bob Hopes dead... And the other is No Hope! :D

Yeah, don't worry. I wrote this in jest more than anything. That said, you never know, it could've been a genuine mistake by an otherwise responsible pilot that would like to repay his/her debts. If I accidentally hit the boost button as I left a station and caused this, I know I'd want to. But then I'm a decent person.

Also, while I'm on this topic. Can anyone provide a possible explanation for the manner of my destruction? After the first hit by the Clipper, I was still perfectly intact and with just a little shield left. After the second, my shield went and my hull was reduced to just over 50%. I then actually managed to enter the station and make my way towards the landing pad while wondering how big my repair bill would be. Then I suddenly exploded- around 10 seconds after the second impact, give or take. I'm pretty confident nothing else hit me either.

Network issues because of so many human players perhaps?

What ship were you flying/what armour did you have/shield strength and what was the angle of reckless abandon?

Nope

They are a pair of griefers and have been doing that for months, most likely one of them rammed you again and finished you off, it's too much of a coincidence that it's a
clipper and a cobra when a clipper and a cobra have been doing this for months, they literally sit there all day and on weekends they sit there all day over the whole weekend just ramming people to death

When this happened to me, the Cobra came back to finish me off just before I landed. These two are well known for getting their jollies by ramming players entering the station - picked quite carefully as it has two rare commodities.

And yet FD hasn't done anything to get rid of them.

What a surprise.

yeah apart from making killing people through ramming a crime in game that carries a bounty which will invariably result in them being munched by the station defences but why let that get in the way of a good moan right?

Wow, ok. I'm quite amazed by the speed at which they were able to turn round, re-enter the station and hit me then. It happened just seconds after they came flying out the letterbox at ludicrous speed. It's a shame such skill can't be put to more use than petulantly making themselves feel better about shortcomings they obviously suffer in real life. Bless 'em.

Oh and I was in a Clipper myself- standard armour but with with a fully charged 5A (I think, not in-game right now but definitely A-rated) shield generator and four shield boosters. Yeah, I like my shields. They must have done themselves a fair bit of damage against that, no?

Not usually if they work in a group of 2 or 3. They share shield damage whereas you take hits from both/all of them. They will also always have 4 pips to shields protecting themselves because (obviously) they are expecting the impact.

Besides they don't seem to care too much normally...

Again for realism as seeing as that is how the griefers argue in favor of their actions, a dead/obituary list that allows the player to never have to deal with the deceased again, unless they take them off the list. That supposed realism should have real consequences. Or maybe a GTA5 style of server where the Neanderthals are placed once they have been coined a problem. In reality once you killed that player through griefing you wouldn't be able to dig him up and grief him again would you.
