POLL: finding one grain of sand in the beach

Awesome... I mean... Just incredible.

Been playing since February and just bought my Anaconda. Low and behold, frontier thinks for some reason that after someone has waited and played so hard to get to this point that the next thing they want to do is wait and jump around doing 12ly per jump to find an A6 FSD.

And because I'm just some lowly fool that only paid $60 for the game + an estimated $30 in paint jobs, I don't have access to the ONE STATION IN THE ENTIRE GALAXY THAT HAS ALL THE PARTS.

This thread is to accomplish 2 things.
1) Help me find the FSD PLEASE
2) Help frontier see that it's things like this that make me turn this game off and fire up a space sim that makes sense, like Star Citizen. This will only happen so many times before I need turn it on again.

I need to know by show of "agree" (+ reason or thougts) or "disagree" (+reason or thoughts) and MAYBE... just MAYBE, those of us who have "enabled them to continue expanding" opposed to "enabled them to start expanding" can have somewhere to go fit our ships.

*I'M not expecting a discount at this station
*I'M not expecting insurance discounts that'd make it more enjoyable to play in open
*I'M not expecting shiny decals for my ship

I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY THIS GAME MORE THAN 50% OF TIME SPENT PLAYING IT, because right now that's about true. Is there ANYONE who agrees with me.

If it were not for the Kickstarters/backers there would be NO Elite Dangerous.
Founder's world is a gift to them, it is also available to any player that reaches Elite status in game.
Finding modules is just part of the game.
It's the way it is.
Just my 2 cents on this matter.

Would definitely chill a bit, the founders world from my understanding becomes available to people who reach the rank of Elite, but was given to early backers for their support so it's not something you'll never achieve. According to a google search which brought me to a wiki you can find an A6 FSD at (
Meliontit)(System) (Abe Hub)(Station) it has 6's for both A and B atleast according to the wiki.

Good stocked stations:

Faust 68, Slipher Hub (ok; 13 ships, fair module selection)
Beta-1 Tucanae, Adams Orbital (ok; 13 ships, fair module selection)
Beta-2 Tucanae, Mouchez Orbital (ok; 13 ships, fair module selection =A7 thrusters, A8 Powerplant)
CD-54 9671, Somayaji Terminal (ok; 13 ships incl FDL, good module selection = A8 Powerplant, A7 thrusters, A7 shield generator)
Dheneb, Henson Gateway
Xihe, Zhen Hub

lol...why don't you try buying a T9 at Delta Phoenicis. With stock outfit she has 6.88ly jump range and the nearest system to jump are farther than 7ly. Stations in Delta Phoenicis don't sell any upgrades either so with your attitude now, you are pretty much scr*wed.

Anyway, i did buy a T9 by trading in my T7 at Delta Phoenicis, and i was in shock for 5 mins because i believed i was stranded (i even submit a ticket to FD, which i closed it myself shortly lol). Once i calmed down down a bit, i down graded every modules possible and able to get my T9 jump range to around 9-10ly and went shop around in other systems for modules. That was one of the most "I WIN" moment for me in ED for solving the puzzle by thinking outside the box.

If you need help here, you just needed to ask nicely. Shopping around for modules is just a minor inconvenient, i see no need for FD to change anything about it. Therefore, no i dont agree with you.

Dvorsi also has a good selection of modules btw.

I'm afraid I don't. You've been flying a paltry 3 or so months and already have the biggest ship. That's pretty incredible progress that demonstrates a focus on credits and getting into the biggest ship ASAP, which suggests you've rushed, been grinding and perhaps missed the bigger experience. Slow down and smell the roses, dude. Alternatively, fly around a bit for the top parts - surely won't take more than a couple of hours or a day of playing at the most. Big question, of course, is: then what? My prediction is that you'll burn out in a month or two, if you don't switch focus from progressing on the credit/ship front to attempting to enjoy the broader game and slowing down a bit. Just my 2c.

Hop through High Tech systems where you have a positive rep. You'll find it quite easily.

I agree with previous posts that if looking for A spec equipment makes you want to quit, you're focusing on personal progression, and frankly, there's none left after you find your A-specs. You need to start enjoying the galaxy and interactions, or your journey will be over soon. Being that you're in such a hurry to find it, to where you don't even want to play anymore, what's after that?

If you just google 'high tech systems elite dangerous' you'll get already compiled lists, find one, and go to it's station. Also make sure you check each system you jump into for high tech stations.

I'm not positive, but over the months (mostly threads looking for C3 Gimballed Beams for Vultures), different commanders had different equipment available at the same station. ie: "Adams in Tucanae has them!" Pilot B: "Not for me!"So, it has been hypothesized, that faction rep may play a role.

And you don't agree with which "son" Jreyy?

disagree .. & am really confused ,
how do you progress to an Anaconda , without experiencing the "Outfitting" Egg hunt with other ships & modules ..
I find it really strange that you have got to the point you can buy an Anaconda & Equip it , yet not have worked out in advance , where you can find the modules you want for it & also how much they cost.
.
Awesome progress btw & congrats on getting the Anaconda.

Nope.

I really struggle to understand how you got to an anaconda without picking up up the basic skill of being able to find modules. I needed an A7 powerplant yesterday and it took me 5 minutes to find (and I didn't go to Shinrarta).

Don't agree.

Finding the kit is not that difficult. If you really can't be bothered to look then ask (as opposed to rant). If you don't want to do that then google. It's not rocket science ;)
