3D Side by Side youtue vid

Hi all,

as you have heard 3D support is here. Unfortunately, I can't make the most of it, but I can record it! I've just replayed this on TV and was shocked. Looks fantastic, even with the lower scale I can use.. Just wow.

So if I understand this right, if I have a 3D tv with sbs, I can use my pc without any extra hardware, pipe the game to the tv, select sbs in the game options to output the game in side by side format .. And play in full sbs 3D.

Just downloaded your vid to pipe to the 3Dtv.. Looks great, but so far only the cockpit is in 3D. None of the roids were. Not sure on the canister as that went past too fast.

Hi, great to hear you downloaded and tried playing video through TV. Here is scenario 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wURNfIQ-t98.

As for playing it through the TV, I'm sure it is possible; in theory. However, I was just providing content for people to see it. I agree, now on reflection, it only appears to be cockpit in 3D.. Which looks really nice, but also, kills the experience.

Yes :D
I'm going to go for a hard wired setup rather than wifi, otherwise there might be a bit of lag.

Resorted back to non-3d, given the resolution limitations I'm under.

I wish I could find a way to make my 1600x900 and 1280x1024 monitors drive a bigger screen resolution. I have them as an extended screen, but I get 1600x900 max in the game. FRAPS records the window at the size playing. I.E. at 1600x900, then side by side is 800x900; upscaled to HD resolution due to my settings.

Hmm. i may well find myself labouring under the same restrictions, thats disappointing.
