POLL: finding one grain of sand in the beach

Just wrote a 25 minute reply answering everything and then bumped the back button. Serves me right.

Sorry for offending and yes I have a lot more time to play than most.

This is my 3rd time buying the Anaconda because I rushed twice before.

I'm dangerous, broker, surveyor (almost deadly and almost the next Explorer rank)
I'm allied with all major factions and am Ensign & Count
I've spent 1.8billion in outfitting (could be more I'm not by computer)
I have a spreadsheet of my personal favorite stations (mostly the ones with 13 ships and a few with 10) I'll share as others have shared with me- I merely struck out too many times and got irritated

I've nothing against backers, but without continued purchases there wouldn't be an ability to expand the game or multiple platforms, so I'd say we're all equally awesome

Typos happen, then there's autocorrect for "lo" and behold

I've steadily used: side, Eagle, viper, vulture, type-6, ASP, clipper*, python*
And have atleast tried to use for different tasks the other ships in the game
Used/use the cobra for rank progression

There was more before but I basically said I was hot-headed and being a whiney brat earlier when I posted that- I realized that after posting it

As with the rest, the fun is in the journey. If it were easy, you wouldn't value the Anaconda you now have. And it is highly unrealistic to think that a galactic economy would sell all parts at every outpost. After all, didn't you watch Star Wars? Didn't you notice that parts for the Falcon weren't available at every port?

It depends on the type of sand and type of beach.

I prefer the finer, volcanic sands found in Hawaii, personally. Each grain is special.

But seriously, you have an Anaconda yet can't find a high grade FSD? Use the filters in the starmap for large population high tech systems and do a spot of light cargo running while you look.

Nope.

I really struggle to understand how you got to an anaconda without picking up up the basic skill of being able to find modules. I needed an A7 powerplant yesterday and it took me 5 minutes to find (and I didn't go to Shinrarta).

exactly what i was going to say. think about it, who's more likely to have it? well populated stations, high tech ones are usually the best imo,
at various points ive needed modules ive had to look for, did you pew pew your way to the conda? theres a few ships that need a class 6 drive so i would have thought you'd have stumbled on to one long ago

… I don't have access to the ONE STATION IN THE ENTIRE GALAXY THAT HAS ALL THE PARTS.

This thread is to accomplish 2 things.
1) Help me find the FSD PLEASE

There is no need for a station that has all the parts and ships. There are many stations out there with good outfitting stores and shipyards with a good selection.

If you are allied to the faction the selection of available modules will get better (at least that's what I've read - can't check it out since I'm allied with almost everybody). I have absolutely no problem to get all the modules I need for my ships - and I don't have access to the founders world.

The chances to find higher end modules are better at high-tech stations. Stay away from agricultural systems, they usually have almost no modules.

I would like FD to adopt the same system as Star Citizen. The Anaconda should cost £250 of real money and be limited edition. You should have to buy it several months before it is actually usable in the game. The big FSD could be cheaper, perhaps only £50 of real money. All of this having to think and put effort into the game is awful ;)

While I can understand your frustration OP, it has to be said if you can find everything at the drop of a hat it makes the game rather boring. As someone who coughed up for the Kickstarter I appreciate what the founders system contains, but by choice I don't use it as it's too easy. I prefer to shop for parts around the various stations so that I get to see things and also get a rough idea of a certain area for future trading/shopping. Think of it as "Shopping Mall" v "high street", one has everything the other has some and it's fun to find something on the high street that you'd only really find in the Mall. In some respects I'd actually like to see less parts and ships at most stations so that we can start to see proper Shipyards appear in the game.
