Damn it all! The President and Vice President lost at once!

OK they were stupid and had done contentious things. The Federation slaughters civilians, the Empire slaughters a whole species, blah blah blah.

But this is bad news for everyone. Fed, Alliance, Imperial, we have less stability and more conflict. Even if you're a died-in-the-wool Imperial supremacist the Federation will have a stronger president keener on war at a time when His Grace is in failing health and succession isn't clear. Surely even if you're a thoroughbred combat pilot with no friends or family, you can see there are more credits to be made hunting pirates?

First species-wide goal to be failed since I got my wings.

I wouldn't come to conclusions so quickly. The search is still on, nothing has been publicly released concerning the data we've found other than the suspicions of politicians. Be patient commander.

And... I wouldn't come up with baseless threats towards the Empire. If anyone is at fault (other than non-human threats) it is an internal affair from within the Federation. If I were you I'd have some questions for the upcoming new president.

I too am looking forward to the Hudson administration. Especially when he fills his cabinet with illustrious names like Hicks, Apone, Gorman, Drake, Vasquez... Thats it! Game over Man!
