- Balanced another stat that effects heat build up in the Courier

Much better now, fuel scooping now is possible, but it still tends to overheat where no ship I have flown so far would break into sweat. With an A2 fuel scoop, for example, keeping the ship at a steady distance and slow speed for 40kg/s, the ship did settle intp 69% heat around a M class red dwarf, the same scoop rate around a K class star, it would still continue climb, just slowly now.

I would like to know whether that is a deliberate design decision about the Courier, or just still needs a small adjustment. :)

This is expected to be next week, but will depend on what feedback comes in and what changes need to be made. Once the date is firm we’ll let you know.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is from the newsletter #77 (last Friday)

This week we're talking Powerplay in a week when beta players have been conquering the galaxy and helping us test the update before the full release goes live, free to all Elite: Dangerous players.

And I couldn't find another reference to release date.

Keep up the good work. I hope you (the devs) also take a glance at the beta discussion threads and not only the beta bug reports. Lots of thoughtful feedback to be found there (and a little whining ;) ).

Looking good. I just hope it does not release without rift fixes. Its fine backburnering it in beta but once 1.2 is gone then it becomes an issue IMO
 
Turrets still seem to be hosed, mine just opened up on an innocent npc whilst in fire at will mode. that coupled with the inability to pay off my fine for tickling the npc's shield with 5 beam lasers means I am now hosed lol


Back to normal elite for me :D
 
Did you fix the Assassination count equals zero in the stats screen? It always says zero, even though profit keeps counting up.

Absolutely. I have a job, a wife, and kids. As PP currently stands, I am disadvantaged by people who have none of those things. PP could be awesome, but this nonsensical competition grind against members of your own faction and horrible rep decay mechanism make it very difficult to keep my interest sustained. If that is sorted (along with reallocation of PP credits depending on ship type destroyed), I'll be yours for life, devs...
 
Guys are working hard and i appreciate that. Mechanics of PP, 10% module charge, rep decay all need looking at again.

They already said they have (or will?) changed rep decay so only major faction rep decays. Its a much more minor issue now.

Mechanics of PP aren't too bad once you understand them, but the ladder system using % and top 10 is a bit troubling, although i think it can wait until to goes live so we can see how it works in reality.

10% module change, community seems split on that one, although majority seem to be against. Don't see why they can't go live with it and see how it works.

Don't see a fix in this patch thought for ranks not being awarded... they can't go live until they fix that one, its a doozy.

Ill raise you by 3 jobs on top of the wife and kids. ;) But yes, this is my only serious concern with powerplay as it stands.

However, ranks need driving somehow, it can't just be time based, otherwise there can be no decay of ranks, and that is absoloutely needed for powerplay to work at all. Flat points seems to be the way to make powerplay within powers more cooperative. A casual player will still get there, just will take longer.
 
Here's a feature I'd like to see happen in the commodities list. Put the items I actually have in my hold at the top of the list. They can be replicated below, but since I do trade missions frequently, having the items I have to sell all in one group would be less annoying. Maybe even an indicator that you have a BB mission that wants some of that cargo and a button to link to the BB mission to deliver?
