It appears to be a screenshot of Elite : The New Kind. Not entirely sure which version though - I do know it's not the GBA or DS versions.

You can try loading FE2 on there, but I'm guessing the device is not powerful enough to run it smoothly.
EDIT: I decided to try it myself and it looks like Apple broke side loading capability in iOS 8.3.
So only get iDOS if you are using 8.2 or earlier!

What a co-incidence, a couple of days later the devs of iDOS 2 have updated it to allow file loading. I have tested Elite 2 on my iPad and it works absolutely great!
I would get this app asap as Apple may not respond well to it and could be your only chance to play Elite 2 on your iOS device (without jailbreaking).

Can you imagine the torrent of complaints in this community if FD even implied they were considering releasing an Elite game for smartphones?
Honestly, although I see what you are getting at, I don't see any real issue with a faithful port of FE2 or FFE, or even ED - so long as it was a faithful port, and not the F2P garbage that seems to be drowning the App Store.

Nah, I'd be totally down for it. I just don't even want to think about DD overflowing with "omg has fd abandoned us for the mobile market??" threads.
There was a similar app called Power DOS which supported Bluetooth keyboards but is no longer in the AppStore since a couple of months ago. It didn't support file sharing so would be broken now anyway.
