shieldcell bacnks on conda?

before I head back out into the black, I'm thinking of refitting for combat and working some of the more well known interdiction sites, with the intention of getting into some fights with pirates.
I haven't really played combat for a while -- so, I'd say my experience level is newbie/mediocre. The few fights I've gotten into were with idiots who didn't think my "trading" anaconda was armed.
.

MY goal is to load out with beam/canon turrets (maybe autocannon?) and tons of shield cells -- since we don't have an in-game simulator, I want to test out my builds with as much margin for error as possible, and then as I get better, maybe slim out the shieldcells in favor of other components.
.
anyway, with that long-winded intro, how many SCBs would be sufficient to recharge and give me enough protection if things get too hairy and I need to SC out? I'm running an a7 shield.
Any other comments on this build welcome -- if this is just a stupid build, I'm also considering re-buying an eagle and going and having some fun, or possibly a python. This is just about having fun, not making $$.. that's what trading is for.

Slimming out the shield cells in favour of other components? What would those other components be on a combat build currently?
Anyway - this thread in combination with ED shipyard might be helpful.

gentlemen, and lady, I present the LOLaconda

I wish I had the source to point to, but some of those A ranked SCB's would be better off running as class B (They have more ammo, and therefore more overall shield restore)

Edits:I realized after I posted, that the thread I wish I could have referenced had already been linked above. *salutes the Captain*

can you program a macro to activate/deactivate scb? I can see this as potentially taking too long to hit the system panel to activate the scb.
