where are all the pirates/best place to get into a fight?

just looking for something to test out different loads, either npc or player pirates.
Haven't done much combat ... where's a good place to get into trouble?
Tried lave, lessti, diso, and a few others, only interdicted once.

Diso, period. If you even make it to the station in that system during prime time pirating hours, you'll be seeing a lot of that station if you battle alone.

yeah, maybe I just hit an off nitght. I tried lessti, diso, lave, flew back and forth for a while. scanned everyone, anyone that was wanted I flew directly at them. Couldn't have been more overt.
Just a single interdiction in an hour.

Good thing I haven't been online during prime hours. Late morning/early afternoon CST, Shifnalport is mainly safe.

Should I work on GMT for prime time? I'm on EDT.

I could, but I'm testing out defensive strategies for being interdicted.
Also, I'd have to carry etra equipment, and I'm already at my limit... and have a really crappy jump range as it is.

The best defensive strategy is Don't let them even get the tether on you
Escape and Evasion.

From 6pm to 10pm EDT is prime time, or at least it was tonight.
Most of the time Code isn't going to mess with you unless you pull one over or are running around obviously outfitted for bounty hunting (KWS, FSDI usually = KOS) or outfitted for hauling cargo (drop cargo legally otherwise dead).
Anytime you want a 'til-the-shields-drop test of your config, jump into the system and ask and I'm sure someone will oblige. Saw that happen tonight as well. Well, someone from Code will honorably oblige. Some other groups might just kill you and laugh.

I think most of the big PvP'ers are over in the beta testing it out so they're ahead of the new ship, new weapons learning curve come 1.3 launch day.

Fit an interdictor and a KWS. You may get ignored if you are not in an obvious trade ship/trade fitted multirole ship.
