Oculus DK2 picture seems very bad

Hi there all

I'm new at this so I apologize for what may be obvious questions. I looked for answers and couldn't find any, but my search-fu may be off.

Anyway, I'm using the DK2. I've got it set up and all appears to be well, but in ED the picture is quite bad; the colors are noticeably separated and it's very hard to read anything because this makes everything very blurry.

For the record I followed the set up guide on this forum and changed my hud etc to match.

Any ideas?

Have you played with your IPD settings and checked they are ok. Its quite a fiddle to find the sweetspot on your head too.
Does the desktop demo and other games work better.

The desktop demo works well (although the cards on the right side aren't precisely aligned between the two eyes, they're just off but I can't get them any better).

Very sorry SlackR but what is Aero?

Adam: I did configure my IPD settings but it's just occured to me that that was on another computer! I'm just off out for a couple of hours but I'll do that asap!

A crappy Windows application that stuffs up everything!
Google bilagos elite app ... An easy way to switch things off and restart the oculus drivers.

Gosh not used that in ages! And yes the desktop demo sometimes looks a little off to me (especially when my eyes are a bit tired)

but aero looks sooo sleek haha :)
VR desktop, bilago's work very well.

after trying to juggle ED, assetto and a few other titles. I have completely eliminated aero...not sure if it makes a diff, but it helps with launch on some titles.

isnt the colour separation a symptom of IPD?
