I think you misunderstand the position those who feel that the distribution of the powerplay powers are an equal representation of those around the world currently... It is not about race. The ones calling for diversity are the ones trying to make it about more about race and are falling short of seeing this as the global population being represented. The ones bringing attention simply feel that the representation does not match what they had imagined. There isn't anything wrong with that opinion, but to say that races aren't being represented is not exactly correct either. Remember though that these are only a few powers and that I believe it has been stated that powers will rise and fall so different races can be added along the way.
You are looking at 1300 years in the future. With that much time population movement would create a larger group of people who would be classed as mixed race. Mixed race might be the majority than the minority as it is today. No matter how FD made the characters look, someone would comment and be narked, racial stereotypes etc.

Anyway, on topic - getting on FDEV's back for a set of 10 pictures is laughable. There are plenty of powers yet to appear, and these ones will probably fall by the wayside eventually to be replaced by new ones. Revisit this topic in 2 years and then we will see what the community and FDEV have produced. As for the racial makeup of 3300, I'd be somewhat surprised if we're all the same old shapes, let alone the same old colours, given our fascination with genetic tinkering...

You misunderstood my entire post. I stated that the games industry in Britain has largely been comprised of white men. This is a statement of fact, not an opinion or a judgement and as such can not in any way be interpreted as 'prejudiced'. You were simply trying to discredit my post through an entirely spurious point. It was made in the context of suggesting that perhaps the makeup of the portraits simply reflected the makeup of FD's team.
Nor did I 'forget' non-white females. I commented that this historical demographic is changing as opportunities for non white males increase. As in; opportunities for those who are not white and male. I hope that is clear for you now. Perhaps step back and think twice about whether you have understood a post.

No one cares what colour you are or what you got between your legs and the more people make it an issue the more it will remain one. Next they will have to be given sexual orientations to help represent the LGBT comuntiy... or its a non issue and no one cares. This thread would only have been relevant if they were all one skin type and gender and they clearly arnt.
