Actually, you know what - that' s not right.
I wrote the limerick as a joke, but the haiku was a genuine expression of something that I feel strongly about regarding Elite. It's the notion of the vast unknown of space, peaceful exploration, and the isolation of being far from home. I found it even in the original BBC version, and I was hoping to foster a discussion of this aspect of the Elite series, because to me it's the key to the whole thing.
Admittedly, my intentions could've been clearer mind you
