Mercy, I seem to be missing the option to PM you.
Would you drop me a PM I can reply to please?
I have PM's disabled, because any conversation I have on any forum is public. I won't talk behind anyone's back about anything. If it needs to be said, it can be said where everyone can "hear" or see it.
Edit:
i would counter that with the elder scrolls online. an MMO.
i would also suggest that the reason you arent deconstructing the term 'massive'
is because in the context of an MMO, the word 'massively' renders your post pointless.
...you had to go there. Okay.
I play ESO fairly regularly. I have never during my entire time there(played since early access, mind you) been required to team with anyone to complete content that I cared to do. Matter of fact, the main story line is ENFORCED SOLO. Fighter's guild quests? Yup. SOLO. Mage's guild quest? SOLO AGAIN. There are several quest lines that split parties up due to enforced solo content, and phasing(basically, if one of the party clicks the objective, he "phases" out from the rest of the party until the rest of them click the objective.) also splits parties up.
That whole game is an MMO. Persistent world. Hundreds of players online in that world simultaneously, therefore massive. Online by default. Yet, playing together with other people is totally optional at all times.
