What About Singleplayer Good old Cheat codes

Good old cheat codes for people who want to try everything.

I am sure I am not the only one who do have a lot of time. The Cobra mk3 is fun but I want to try crazy build.

It is a way to have Cheat codes in single player?

The single player in this game isn't truly singleplayer, but solo online play. There are no legal ways to cheat in this game, and attempting to do so could have dire consequences in concerns to your account.

It is against the forum rules to talk about cheats regardless of single or multiplayer.
They do exist but all are against the game EULA that everyone signs and may (probably will) lead to an account ban, a progress reset or other developer actions against you. My advice is patience, play and enjoy the game, if you do/do not make it to the top ships do not despair and move on :)

I did wonder if they'd implement a shipyard style tester that you could use in tutorial missions for those without the time to grind to top ships but alas, nothing yet.

The modes are not separate games. All it is, is a setting to say who you play with online.
The key point - you're online.... all the time.

Know many MMOs with cheat codes? ;)

why those lazy answer.

Every games have cheats codes.

But not this one. why?
because we do not have real single player?

Not a MMO I hate MMO.

I wanted a space sim. MMo always ruin everything.
I hate grinding.

Sadly Elite is an MMO (I found that out today, its on the elite wiki page). As I said, don't grind. Play, enjoy and decide if you want to carry on playing to get higher ships or leave it.
It has a 10 year development schedule, if you get bored, uninstall it, set a calendar reminder for 1 year and try it again with the new updates.

P.s. Do expect this thread to be locked by forum moderators shortly :)

My favourite cheat code is the one where you trade precious metals in a T9...after about 200 trips back and forth you get an anaconda! :/

yeah that Crap I do not want.

I really hate grind. I do not have the time for this.

I just want to try all the ship and experiment build and jobs.

After that I will grind my way in Multiplayer.

I got a "cheat code" that let's me test out all kinds of ships and equipment.

It's called "beta access", but it only seem to work at specific times though...

:p:D

I wasn't happy over the MMO tag either, but we seem to be stuck with it :(
(and all the bad that comes with it)
