Dont beleive the overview screens

A bit of simple maths shows that aisling should have between 900-1100 CC to spend this cycle, says she has 500.
Edmund alliance dude should also have about 200 more than it says he does.
this has a roll on effect of making people believe they cant successfully prepare as many systems as they should be able to.
for example, aisling should be able to afford the top 9 systems on her prep list, says she can afford the first 3 only.

I am not seeing any replies to topics about the knock on effects of the turn being calculated incorrectly. There's a thread about the fact the turn ended too soon and people complaining about losing merits not cashed in but what about the fact that NO power shows undermined systems in their stats list and only some power's show some fortified systems. Considering all the CC point calculations that go along with that the final board at the end of the turn must surely be pretty Ucked

Before the end of the turn Hudson looked to be in disarray, honestly the extra CC cost for these undermined systems should have affected their ability to expand but there they are at no 1. I know people have been watching whats going on. God know the complaining I've seen about CMDR's over fortifying dud (low CC) systems with seemingly no more plan than x is close to y so +merits or the threads suggesting much more nasty reasoning but there is no forum wide cries about a whole week of results from grinding that seems to have practically been ignored.

I've been trying to get my head around PP just like many others not in the Beta but this seems to have made the whole thing pointless. So how come it's not getting discussed beyond the loss of some merits?

All powers have incorrect CC showing. There are many threads in the bug forums about it, I hope they fix it soon as it is kinda game-breaking for PP players.

Yeah they seem to have gone very quiet today, I think some people are rightly having their behinds handed to them today at FD, probably mixed with them trying to respond to as little as possible to try and not publicly confirm the existence of so many bugs.

I'm having trouble even finding CMDR to CMDR conversation about this. Honestly I just wanted to confirm that I hadn't got PP ass backwards in my head again. Feeling like there is a lack of response to an honest 'What just happened?' is the kind of thing that generates confused and angry replies. Certainly I'm not interested in seeing a vent thread but there must be some feeling about this getting expressed somewhere? Even the Reddit Elite Power Sub threads seem more intent on continuing with a 'Plan' when really maybe we should be stopping until we know PP effort is actually going somewhere.

well my honest opinion is that the only way they can fix this whole mess they have created themselves over the past week is to literally start powerplay again from scratch, and im saying this after already grinding about 20 hours this week to earn 1500 merits, I'd be happy to lose the lot if they just admitted they have royally screwed this update release up with the problems fixed once and for all rather than having to apply multiple band-aids a day which is just compounding the problem. So much so that a simple bug fix to make the merit decay happen at only 6/7ths normal rate actually gave the majority of people more merits?!?!?!?

I know, right! That did not help my being confused at all. Should I have more prep nominations than I do after all I only received Rank 1 wage at the end of the turn but what's this? I can now take 15 PP items in the cargo hold and I have two prep nominations but, with 800 + merits do I not actually get 5 nominations? Just frustrating stuff.

Is it like the wages payment that everyone got confused about, expecting immediate effects?

Undermining last week decreased CC for this week, but didn't affect last week's expansion.

has been confirmed that powers have hidden "overheads" values that will stop them getting beyond a certain size, regardless of player interaction :-/
it increases the more systems a power owns, with no way of combatting it, and it doesn't show anywhere on your powers screens.

Maybe, if everyone is rank 1 at the beginning of the week and that is how the next weeks wage is calculated, then I see a lot of players going straight through Ranks 2 and 3 and plateauing at 4 and 5, kinda feels off in terms of progression but still if thats what FD wanted then sure. As for the Expansion, I just reckoned that Winters was as likely to expand their three as well so the Changes in the Top 3 with L-Duval right up there confuse me some.
